Noontime Nantucket waves, caught a three-foot shark.
Beat its head,
threw it on ice,
threw it in the dark.
Gutting that night found 6 formed fetuses.
Stomach held our lure and half a minnow.
A mother getting food.
Fillets ready with blood on our hands.
Dismembered mess revealed more.
A beating organ pumped almost nothing left.
I took her heart out, she finally gained her death.
